QuickAddons ("we", "our", or "us") is a Shopify app developed by Johny Hazkour. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you install and use QuickAddons, how we use it, and how we protect it.

2. Data We Collect

When you install QuickAddons, we collect and store the following data through the Shopify API:

• Shopify store domain and authentication tokens
• Product and variant data (IDs, titles, prices, images)
• Order data (order IDs and line items, used for analytics)
• Customer cart interactions (add-on selections — no personal customer PII is stored)
• App configuration and widget settings you create within the app

We do not collect or store personal customer information such as names, email addresses, or payment details.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To display add-on products on your storefront
• To power the QuickAddons widget and product recommendations
• To provide in-app analytics on add-on performance and revenue
• To maintain your app configuration and preferences

4. Data Storage

All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway (railway.app). Data is retained for as long as your store has QuickAddons installed. When you uninstall the app, your store data is deleted within 48 hours.

5. Shopify API Scopes

QuickAddons requests the following Shopify API scopes:

• read_products & write_products – to read product data and update add-on configurations
• read_orders – to track add-on purchases for analytics
• write_metaobjects – to store add-on configuration as Shopify metaobjects

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Data is used solely to provide the QuickAddons service.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit and access controls on our database.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your store's data at any time by contacting us. To delete all data associated with your store, simply uninstall the app or contact us directly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
